Why the COVID-19 Vaccines Could Never Prevent Transmission
The full history of "Herd Immunity" helps explain why our officials lied to us while marketing the vaccines.
Note: this is an abridged summary of the original article.
Throughout COVID-19, many our trusted authorities repeatedly told us the vaccines were the key to solving everything (many examples can be found here). Yet, as time went forward each of these promises failed to come to fruition and the goal posts on what the vaccines could do were moved over and over.
One of the most insidious lies was that the vaccines would reduce transmission of COVID-19. There were three major issues with this lie:
•It formed the basis for encouraging mass discrimination against the unvaccinated, as their refusal to vaccinate went from being simply a choice to harm themselves to one that put everyone in danger around them.
•It provided a justification to enact highly questionable vaccine mandates, some of which were later ruled by the Supreme Court to be illegal. Those mandates severely harmed millions of Americans and to many were the greatest violation of personal bodily autonomy they had experienced in their lifetimes.
•Based on what was known at the time these claims were made, it was abundantly clear there was nothing to suggest the vaccines would prevent transmission. This suggests our leaders deliberately lied to push the vaccines on the public, something which has also been supported by subsequent FOIA releases.
There are two very important things to take away from all of this:
First, as difficult as it is to believe, many followers of the narrative now believe no one ever promised or claimed the vaccines would reduce transmission. We need a clear record of these lies so there is no ambiguity over what happened and it cannot happen again.
Second, the myth of herd immunity (something that is often impossible to achieve) is a common sales pitch used to lure the public into mass vaccination campaigns. Since it is unlikely to succeed, its narrative is always pivoted to more and more vaccines being needed which do less and less. To not fall prey to this scam, we need to fully understand the initial lie that initiates it.
